Basic training

Army Reserve Pvt. Micah T. Johnson has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.

He is the son of Delphene Johnson of Helen Lane, Mesquite, and James Johnson of Roundrock Road, Garland, and is a 2009 graduate of Dr. John Horn High School, Mesquite.

Air Force Airman Lilian Rodriguez graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

She is the daughter of Higinio and Bertha Rodriguez of Meandering Way, Garland, and is a 2008 graduate of Naaman High School, Garland.

Air Force Airman Helen Luong graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

She is the daughter of Jenny Lu of Ridgemoor Drive, Garland, and sister of Cindy Chen of Christian Court, Plano, and graduated in 2007 from North Garland High School, Garland, and received an associate degree in 2009 from Richland College, Richardson.

Air Force Airman Jonathon G. Crouch graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

He is the son of Carissa Thomas of Feather Lane, Terrell, Texas, and grandson of Edna Crouch of N. Beltline St., Garland, and is a 2009 graduate of Terrell High School.

Air Force Airman Michael R. Biggs graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

He is the son of John and Stephanie Biggs of Crosslands Drive, Garland, and is a 2009 graduate of Sachse High School.
